This actually does what is says it will - hides flaws. It also adds a sort of shimmer or glow to my complexion. Also - I am allergic to a lot of make-up/soap/perfume products, and I have had no problems or reactions to this product. HOwever - it does the same thing other face powders and powdery bases do - when my skin gets oily, after several hours of wear, the powder has an opposite effect and actually settles or cakes into lines. I wish some miracle product would be developed that actually works with oilier skin types. But I do like this product and I do recommend it.

I have a lot of the Bare Minerals makeup and Tinted Mineral Veil is what I usually keep using over and over. It's perfect on it's own for evening out oily skin like mine and makeing pores look non-existant.

This is an excellent product for mature skin. I am 51 years old, have fair skin, and need moderate coverage. This foundation provides a natural, but complete coveraage for uneven skin tones, and is very light and comfortable. I used to get oily on my nose, but this product takes care of the shine. It also covers up blemishes beautifully if you use a small brush on these spots.

I like the Bare Minerals, but I find them a bit shiny for winter...nice in the summer when you want that glow.

While I love the Bare Escentuals foundations, this Mineral Veil doesn't appear to actually do much at all. I suppose it's supposed to keep the shine and oil at bay, but to be honest I have never noticed any difference when I don't use the MV. It certainly can't hurt to use it, but there doesn't seem to be much purpose.
