This used to work for all my animals, but last year and this year it has not worked. I do not know if the quality of the product has gone down hill, or if the fleas have built up an immunity.
 Great product June 15, 2008
My poor Rascal had fleas so bad that he was miserable. I tried sprays and other over the counter meds, none helped. Advantage worked almost immediately. I put a drop on his neck when I got home from work and by that night he got his first restful sleep in two weeks. It is virtually odorless. The smell does not bother me nor him at all. I have effectively used Advantage for 5 years now as preventive medicine and haven't seen any more fleas. (I cheat and only use it during late spring, summer, and early fall as fleas aren't around in the winter.)

I was using the frontline product for years and it was always such a problem to get the cats (3) to stay still for the application. The smell of the stuff had them hightailing it out of the room and not before we would get scratched up. But with this product it was so easy, all 3 cats had no problem getting the application and the fleas had totally disappeared, in the house and on the cats within 12 hours. It's been 3 weeks now and not a flea. We comb them with a flea comb - even after they have just come in from outside and not a flea! This product has my total endorsment. The company was great, the price was affordable and shipping had it here very quickly. Thank you!

We used to struggle with OTC products for flea control. Nothing seemed to work, despite all the effort involved with application of the powders, sprays, collars, etc. Advantage is so easy to use, and the cats have been without fleas for years. Each dose is expensive, but in the long run, well worth it.

This works pretty well. I currently have 2 cats, one is a longhair and one is shorthair. I have tried many topical flea tx's. One of the cats scratched more the first 3 days after the treatment, then he stopped. The only problem after that is to remember when the end of the month is almost here, so I can treat them all again.
