I was very happy with this purchase. The umbrella arrived quickly, was packaged well and is a quality umbrella at a fraction of the cost at big box stores.

I am very pleased with this umbrella--it is just what I was looking for when I ordered it. The size of this umbrella is just right for our table. The material is sturdy, the color is rich, the pole is strong. Someone mentioned it being hard to tilt and I suppose it is a little--but no more so than other umbrellas I have previously owned. It takes a little practice and perhaps is easier for a taller person than for a shorter one. Unfortunately, we were sent the wrong color the first time, but it was very easy to return and we had the right one in a couple of days. The hunter green coordinates beautifully with our patio furniture and the cost was quite a bit less than many others I have seen. All in all, it's a great umbrella!
 Good 1st impression / BAD last impression August 13, 2008
Upon receiving this item I noted the shipping carton looked like it came from China strapped to the bottom of a tramp steamer, so immediately I was concerned. I opened the carton and was very impressed with the material, the aluminum shaft appeared sturdy; I was starting to feel good about this purchase. I took it out and began to open it, that's when everything went to h**l, the top fell over and the cord was hanging askew.Upon close inspection it was found that the tilt mechanism is made out of cheap potmetal or plastic, couln't really tell which, but obviously it breaks very easily, leaving the umbrella totally useless.
Needless to say it was returned for a refund, too bad because it seemed worth much more than the $34 price. If they used better materials for this high-stress part, it would be a very nice item for the $$$$$$

We are really happy with this product, it looks great and is easy to use. The tilt feature works fine for us and the color and style are great.
