Customer Reviews:
Average Product December 22, 2007 I was excited to buy this product but disappointed when it arrived. The construction is OK and the item works so so. It misses some items and does not do well on pations and driveways. Does OK in a garage and cellar but cannot easily handle and surface less than perfect. I was expecting better performance and construction from an outdoor sweeper. This is on the lower end of the quality spectrum. Buy with caution.

Very light Works best if ground is dry, even better on smooth floors. Does not work so well going downhill. Picks fir tree needles up decently on my asphalt driveway. You have to somewhat overlap your sweep passes on rough ground.

I purchase two of these for each construction project I do (multifamily residential). I only need one laborer to do the clean up job of two thanks to this contraption. It is fast, easy, and adjustable. It does not, however, do too well in corners and is not good if dust control is an issue. It will, however, save you a ton of clean up money...or you could just push the cost back on the subcontractors who messed your project up in the first place! Either way, you'll have a clean site.
One more piece that takes space. July 1, 2006 8 out of 12 found this review helpful
This is a large item, about the size of a small lawn mower. It's light weight: that's not a problme. It's $100 bucks, all said an done. It doesn't actually replace a broom: you will still need one for some jobs.
This means it's one more thing to take space and use, and so it has to "pay the rent" to be around your home. In my case, it's a nice thing, but doesn't actually pay the rent.
It picks stuff up, but it's not a lot of fun to empty. When you empty it, at least half the time you spill, so you need a broom to pick up the spillage.
If you have LOTS of concrete with small enough sticks, leaves, grass and other junk, it's useful. I bought it because i have plenty of rental properties and send a crew out with a picjup fool of lawn tools. So this thing is just one more thing.
That also means I bought it with tax-deductible money.
It's not useful at my house. I tried it out there on my deck and patio. Many sticks are too long for it. When things get wet, you have the same proplem as a broom does. My 12-year-old grandson can run it, but emptying it well becomes problematic to him.
In short, this is one more piece that takes up storage space, and is likely not going to be much help to you.

After reading the reviews, my expectations were really high. But the sweeper does an extremely reasonable job. I use it to clean the driveway after using the mulcher/mower. But I can't justify the cost and the sweeper is overpriced. This will probably the most expensive broom I'll ever have. But it works.
