air compressor September 5, 2008 Works well- good price value relationship. Does not not have a Schrader valve attachment to fill one type of bike tires. Would purchase again.
Bon-Aire Air Compressor September 4, 2008 Great! Love it! Does exactly what it is supposed to do and what I bought it for.
Bon-Aire compressor/Inflator August 22, 2008 I use it every month as the pressure in tires change that often. It is easy to use. I check the pressure with it and inflate if needed. Saves me trips to the gas station.
ONE YEAR and still going strong July 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My husband said, "What do you need THAT for?" when this showed up from Amazon. Of course, I had to tell him that my front tire keeps getting low and I'm tired of stopping at a service station to get air.
So, that was one year ago. Since then, I've seen HIM pull this out for other things at least once or twice a month. He's used it on a wheelbarrow wheel, pool floats, bicycle tires, you name it. For something that we did not need (according to him,) we (he) sure is getting a lot of use out of it!

This unit worked great for a couple of months of light use topping off auto and truck tires at home. Then it started to slow down, accompanied by a nasty burning odor. At that point I stopped using it. This item has a one year warranty. On page 2 of the operator's manual it states, "Bon-Aire Industries, Inc. warrants this product for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase against any defects that are due to faulty materials or workmanship. Please return to seller of this product for credit or free replacement". So, I sent an e-mail to Amazon. They replied, "Unfortunately, because more than 30 days have passed since you received this item, we can no longer accept a return". So much for a warranty.
There appears to be a similar device sold by Sears. Sears item # 02875117000. The reviews of the Sears Compressor have been less than stellar.
On a positive note, the pressure gauge still works !!!
