 Expensive, but a good ink system September 8, 2008
I had researched the Canon inking system and knew that it was not the least expensive on the market, but after living with it for a couple of months now I am comfortable with it's value. The positive indication that the cartridges are in correctly is kind of cool. I hate going in to change ink, so it is nice to know that they are in right before you button up the device.
I deducted one star because it is still a tad on the pricy side, but still worth it.

A good product, easy to install. The only draw back with this printer is the cost of the replacement ink.
 Review of Canon Ink Cartridges August 28, 2008
I have always felt that replacement ink cartridges sold by the manufacturer of the printer for which they are intended are superior to other cartridges manufactured or marketed by another company. The Canon ink cartridges which I purchase for my Canon printer have always performed perfectly and lasted for a reasonable time.

I am thrilled with my buy. I have looked all over and found my best deal at Amazon.com much to my surprise. I have ordered ALL my colors from here and will continue to do so. Ebay offers refilled cartridges without the chip needed and say for YOU to replace them with your old ones, well why take the chance of screwing up your printer...spring for the REAL ones that are COMPLETE. Best buy....Amazon.

Item arrived quickly and as promised. Great value for the money. I always buy my printer cartridges here for the best price.
