These DVD's seem to fail to burn accurately on the second layer. January 1, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have burned about 5 of these DVD's and I have not been able to get a good copy. I haven't had problems with other DVD's I used in the past. My burner is a new La Cie and Roxio Popcorn is proven software. Initially I burned one at 8x but that failed so I tried 4x on the others and they failed also. I don't have the option of 2x so I can't comment on that. Although I have no way of confirming it, I believe they are failing as they begin burning the second layer
Good value, just keep it at 4x or less December 29, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Compared to Verbatim 2.4 DL disks, these are much more reliable. I use a LiteOn SATA burner and keep it at 4x and have no problems. I do dislike the label surface as it has little stars on it, but no biggie, just write right over them. Given the price, these are the best deal going.
Frisbee free burns December 29, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This media works fine for burning, used in an internal and a USB burner, any coaster issues I had have been related to the burning software and data being burnt, the price is right at the moment.

This was a great price on a name brand (Memorex) Double-Layer DVDs. Also, the shipping was really quick.
