A great start for MPJuly 20, 2001 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Sex and Candy is obviously a sign of success. I mean how can you not like this song. It's lyrics are catchy and whimsical, the guitar is beautifuly played and the way John sound as he sings it is just the right combination for a huge radio success. Memphis (a b-side on the cd) is one of those songs that makes you want to get up and just take a break in life. Angel of Forever Sleep (a b-side on the cd) is a song that makes you think of loved ones you lost. I higly reccomend this single over any other as it seems to make you think about life in another perspective.

I Luv It!!!!!June 26, 1999 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The only song from Marcy Playground that I've heard so far is Sex And Candy but I am nearly obsessed with that song. I think it's really well done and I luv Marcy's style. The song makes me think of summer in '98 and I had so much fun then.
Why I Love This Song (A Confession)December 29, 1998 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
This song is so memorable. It is the most memorable song of 98. It gives me such good memories when I listen to it. Let me tell you all why I love this song so much. Back in July this summer I went to cheerleading camp and I stayed with the guys at Craig's house and when we were in the car driving home we were listening to this song and then all 5 of us in the car just started singing it and we all enjoying it. I love that song, it reminds me so much of good times with the guys. You must buy this song! It's so cool!
Marcy Playground's music is so cool. I love it!September 11, 1998 Marcy Playground's music makes me want to stop what I'm doing and listen. "St. Joe On The School Bus" and "Sex And Candy" are my favorite songs.
