There are quite a few pieces, and getting the right combination of water temperature, coffee grind, coffee quantity, and water quantity takes considerable trial and error. The result is, however, a fine cup of coffee or espresso from a most inexpensive device. Keep notes on your first attempts and you will be rewarded by a flavorful cup that is tailored to your own preferences.

I saw the Aeropress at a friends house and went right home and bought one for myself, which allowed me to get rid of my large footprint espresso machine. I like the Aeropress's simplicity and, because it is easy to use, I use it more often. And it's small and light enough to take on trips. Hooray!

Frankly, it is not a true espresso maker. It will make a great cup of concentrated and regular coffee, however. In my opinion, it does make one of the best cups of coffee I have had. Much cleaner than a french press, and easier to use than a vacuum brew. I use a Technovorm at home with a Rocky grinder. Great combination, by the way. However, I travel often and refuse hotel, gas station and airport coffee. The aeropress has made life on the road much better. It is light, virtually indestructible and easy to use, clean and pack. I have now purchased three in total using several as gifts. For $25,00 every coffee lover should have one.

Wow! What a discovery. I have over the years tried different grinds, beans and formulas. This is it. Eureka! I guess the secret is because you are not boiling the water there is no bitterness to the taste. The other day I couldn't get to the store to buy my favorite beans, and used a store brand grind. Didn't matter. Still a great cup of coffee. You can't miss with this one, and there are dozens of videos on line demonstrating how to use it. It so simple to use, a caveman...

This funky little gadget makes an incredible cup of joe! My husband and I were given the AeroPress as a gift and we were so happy with it that we gave our standard coffee maker away. It takes a little getting used to, but once you figure it out, there is no going back. The bonus of this product is that there is no electricity needed, so we travel with it and even take it camping! We love the AeroPress and have since bought it for several of our friends.
