This worked well and I now have two watch bands that fit properly instead of hanging off my wrist like some bangle :)
There's a little jiggling necessary to line everything up correctly, and as long as you take care that the alignment is right before beginning to apply pressure by turning the screw, I don't see any reason why this should not give years of use.
Easy and inexpensive tool May 6, 2008
It is nice to be able to not have to run to the store to get the band adjusted. The screw mechanism gave me very fine control. Watch pins pop out without problem, but just far enough to remove easily. Why pay more? It just works.

I recieved the product in a timely manner. It works well even though the height adjustment is basically useless. It does remove the pins efficiently once you figure out how to line the band up correctly.

Exactly what I needed to take out a couple of links from the Seiko watch I ordered from Amazon. This tool worked great to remove the pins so I could adjust the band on the watch.
