Here is a great mount for the Garmin Nuvi. Excellent value on a heavy duty handlebar mount that fits handlebars up to 1 inches. We even include rubber strips so that this mount can be used for much smaller handlebars.This can be easily removed. This uses the cradle that came with your GPS. This fits all Garmin Nuvi GPS models as well as the Streetpilot C580 C550 C530 i5 i3 i2 GPS.

Great item for mounting a Nuvi on a bike November 4, 2008
I recently purchased a Garmin Nuvi 500 and I planned on mounting it on my Trek 7300. I have a Garmin Colorado as well and I mounted it on the handlebars when I first got it. I just decided that I wanted a more full-functional GPS instead of the Colorado (which was designed primarily as a held-held unit).
I really like this mount. Instead of using zip-ties, like the Garmin mount for the Colorado does, it uses a tightening knob. It stays on better and looks nice. On the inside curve of the clamp there are two strips of rubber. When the clamp is tightened the material both protects the handlebars and keeps the mount from slipping or moving around. Well done!
