I am a die hard Apple fan and I enjoy and use many Apple products. I had read some negative reviews about this device but I wanted to try it for myself and be my own judge. Apple has a 14 day return policy no questions asked so I had nothing to lose (although the price is a bit high).
At first, I thought I was going to like it. The sound quality was good, the attachment cable and it's ability to pair itself with my iPhone automatically (zero set up on my part) was really cool. But, after 2 days of use my opinion began to change. After awhile the device began to hurt my ear, no matter which ear I used. After the first day, my left ear was sore and tender. Then I noticed that the battery life was nowhere near the five hours of talk time and 72 hours of standby time as advertised - not even close. The charge didn't even last one day and I only had two 15 minute conversations during the day..
So, I took it back for a refund. The ear covers helped a little but that made the ear piece even larger which is the biggest complaint with this device. Apple is the master of design and good looks, but there are no practical ergonomics implemented into this device. The ear piece is too big and it fell out of both of my ears very easily. Three stars for sound quality and charger interface and looks. Price, fit, comfort and battery life are the big disappointments on this one.

Apple iPhone Bluetooth Headset
This headset is so easy to install and synchronize without any hitch with Iphone. Sound quality is superb even inside a building. Battery usage is also very good, so far. Design is outstanding, not flashy but classy. I really like its convenient design of using the same recharger as the Iphone. Although a bit costly compared to other brands, I still prefer this unit because of its sleek design, size and sound quality.
