 cable box holder August 28, 2008
doesn't sit straight on top of my tv set. The rear legs of the unit are too long making the unit tilt back too front. I would have perfered it sit straight
 Works great for my Bose Wave radio/cd player May 1, 2008
I ordered this to put my Bose on so I could hook it up to my T.V. I bought the industrial velcro to secure it & have had no problems with it slipping. The assembly was easy, but suggest if you install as recomended to put some felt between the front pegs and the T.V. so as not to scratch the cabnet. The only problem I have is the nic-nac's vibrating off the top of the T.V. but that is due to the volume level of the item I bought the shelf for.

This shelf holds up our cable receiver securely, saves space, and is pleasing to the eye. This is great in organizing the entertainment center!
Works great on the Sony A3000 Projection February 8, 2008
I ordered it in gray rather than Black and the gray overlaps the gray trim edge nicely on my Sony 60A3000, so it is not noticeable that it is even there when viewing from the front. The black would likely look fine, too.
I reversed it as others had. The pegs in front may not be required at all. If one mounted the pegs pointed downward they would extend into the projection's screen. Pegs probably not needed facing upward when mounted upside down for my center channel speaker. It isn't going anywhere.
No problems with it slipping or dropping after 1 month of use.
Highly recommended.
It wasn't at all hard to set up as others had suggested.

OmniMount Television Top Shelf - Perfect for holding Tivo December 18, 2007
With the shape of most televisions today, there's no where you put your CD player or TIVO without it slipping off. I ordered this shelf and mounted it on top of my large screen television in about 5 minutes. It is silver, like the TV, matched perfectly and holds my machines and remotes. The company I bought from on Amazon shipped it very fast and the price is much less than Best Buy or other local stores. I have also bought a black one for one of my darker cabinet Televisions.
