Not good! November 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had been using Hope in a Jar for dry sensitive skin for awhile and loved it, and I was pleased that they had added an SPF to what I thought was going to be the same product. The smell is overwhelming, it's greasy, and the SPF caused major irritation and breakouts...bad news! If you're considering upgrading to the SPF, don't bother...the formulation is entirely different and needs major work. A big disappointment!
I absolutely love this product September 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have used the regular Hope in a Jar for years and thought I would give the one with SPF a try. I absolutely love it. There is just enough tint for some coverage. Although the consistency is different from the regular Hope, I don't find it to be greasy at all and you don't have to use very much of the product.
Very slimy and greasy July 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had always heard the buzz about "hope in a jar" but wasn't tempted to buy it. I saw it had SPF 20 in it and I decided to give it a go. I wish I hadn't. The product is very greasy. It just sat on my skin, wouldn't absorb and clogged up my pores. I was very disappointed by an item that cost this much to perform so little. I have very sensitive skin. The product had me breaking out in hives. I'm going to stick with my Aveeno from now on and save myself the dollars and hives!
Finally! July 14, 2008 I am so glad philosophy has finally caught up with sun protection in their Hope in a Jar. Consistency is a bit different than original and it does fee a bit heavy..but a great product and I feel I still get the effects of Hope in a Jar night cream.
