 Not Overwhelming, Great Lather, Lovely Gift June 25, 2008
This is probably my favorite bath/shower gel and trust me--I've tried dozens. It has that lovely, soft scent that does not annoy people if they are scent-sensitive. You get gobs of lather which is fun to play with and, best of all, for super-sensitive skin types like me--it's non-irritating. The classic, plain packaging just needs a bit of ribbon around the neck and you have a perfect all purpose gift. When I win the lotto (!!!) I going to always have the biggest bottle I can find of this in the shower and a dozen in my gift drawer!
Smells So Clean! June 25, 2008
The pure grace line is probably the only philosphy product I cannot do without. I love how clean pure grace smells. It definitely doesn't smell like the perfume "Clean" (which is overly priced). It's truly a soap-and-water smell. I've gotten so many compliments on how good I smell. People don't ask me what perfume I'm wearing. They just simply tell me that I smell nice. amazing grace seems to be the bestselling scent for philophy in the U.S., but pure grace is the bestselling scent in Europe! A lot of people in healthcare wear this scent because it smells so clean and is so unobtrusive. I have even found that some men wear this scent because it's a simple clean smell. I can't say enough great things about this scent! the "spray fragrance" version (eau de toilette) doesn't have a lot of staying power, so it's better if you try to layer it. philosphy has recently launched ther parfum version. I don't have the parfum one, so I don't know if it has more staying power.

This stuff is hugely popular among the women in my family. Gloriously light and clean scent.

The fragrance is not worth the extra money difference from their other shampoo/bath products. It does not last. All of their scents seem to last just while you are using them.

I'm kind of iffy about the smell -- it seems rather odd to pay a premium for scented shower cream that just smells like....soap. Although it does smell much nicer on my skin than out of the bottle. On the plus side, it makes my skin deliciously soft and even does a fair job at smoothing my frizzy hair. Overall I would recommend this, if you don't mind the price.
