Good Clippers December 4, 2008 The clippers themselves are fine and do a great job. Only problem I had (and this is a personal thing) is that I purchased these because my husband is a Marine and we wanted to save money on having to get his haircut every week, the clippers do not take the hair short enough they are just regular clippers not barber clippers.
Great attachments November 4, 2008 Great attachments, they fit perfectly on my Oster 76 Classic and I save money because I don't need the expensive metal ones. Great buy!
Clunky and unnecessary sizes September 7, 2008 Although these blade guards do fit on my Oster fast speed clippers it is clear that they were not designed specifically for the particular model. They do not slide nicely on like the attachments made for the clippers, but instead have a hard to use spring mechanism. There are also many useless sizes if you are cutting hair to be longer than an inch you probably shouldn't be using clippers.
Nice selection August 30, 2008 Ease of use with the Oster PowerMax is great! They snap on and off without a struggle. Now, having experimented with most of length's provided, I found out that I'll probably only use the two smallest one's and even the shortest one didn't get as close as I wanted. But if I don't use the attachment at all then I end up with a very uneven result, including "oops" patches where the skin shows through. So even though I'll only be using just two of the attachments out of the nice selection provided (one for summer, one for winter), it's still a good buy, especially for those that like to have different length's on their pet for that "professional" look.
great clipper for cats and dogs August 22, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
We used to take our dog in to have her clipped and now do it ourselves, clipper works great, we also used it on our three siamese cats who love their new haircuts. No more hairballs or hair flying around. Some cats don't like to be brushed so they constantly leave fur wherever they lay. We have one cat that doesn't like to be held so we got him something to relax him from the vet that we gave him one hour before shaving, it doesn't knock them out its just for stressful situations and calms them down so its a good idea if you think your pet will flip out to get some meds from the vet first. Also, I wouldn't recommend shaving your cat alone have an assistant to calm and hold the cat still so things go smoothly, I thought all my cats would freak out but they were ok and like I said I gave the male some calming meds. The money we saved on taking out pets in to be cut has already paid for the clippers so its a good investment.
