Pleasantly Surprised! March 19, 2008
I recently received a free sample of Avon's Soft & Sensual Replenishing Hand Cream as swag at an industry event. I had very low expectations for it as there are about a million hand lotions on the market and none of them really seem to do much for me. I have extremely dry skin and my hands can get pretty rough. Most hand creams & lotions will soften my hands after application until it's fully absorbed, but really do not do much for me long-term.
I took my free sample of Avon's S & S Replenishing Hand Cream to work and started using it occasionally there. At first, I thought it seemed thin and ineffective. About day 3, I noticed that if I applied it more than once in an afternoon and kept rubbing my hands together until it was fully absorbed, it would exfoliate my skin. Don't get me wrong, I use scrubs and peels and moisturizers on my hands all the time, so I was pretty surprised at the amount of dead skin that started rolling up when I rubbed my hands together (sorry, a bit graphic).
I am pretty impressed with the condition of my hands now. They really are soft and moist. I am HOOKED. Good thing Avon's products are so affordably priced.
(I sound like a commercial. I'm not. I'm genuine.)
