Good but Hate it July 4, 2008 Okay this looks hot and sexy and just looks great but if you are like be and have sensitave eyes then do not buy at ALL!its not good for some people like me.....but it does look great
Love-Hate Relationship but oh so pricey!! June 16, 2008 After hearing all the hubbub, I finally searced out a Nordie's and made an INVESTMENT. Sorry kiddos, but I don't live the glamorus life and this amt of $$$ is a lot for a school teacher! So what's the big deal? If I ever wanted to create the perfect smoky, smudgie eye for the night out at the clubs. This is the product. However, trying to work all day in it, I found that it left undereye smudges that were tough to remove, eye "clutter" flakes, etc, and then when removal time finally came around--then it decided to stick like dried clay. For a regular working day, Defincils for upscale mascaras worked better because it was lighter. However, when Colin Farrell and I (or other Prince Charmings hit the 'scene), I know what I'll wear--as long as the Movie star is buying of course!
Best Mascara June 7, 2008 I have used others well known brands, usually buy at department stores. Came across this one Dior and fell in love with it. Great product, goes on real smooth and easy.
awesomness May 2, 2008 I don't wear a lot of makeup and the makeup I do wear, I am very particular about. This mascara is everything people told me it was, not flakey, not clumpy, not smeary, goes on really clean, and has a nice smell to it.
Disappointed in the Smudges May 1, 2008 Naturally, I am always on the prowl for a fabulous mascara - one that will make my eyes "pop", but without the typical concerns (i.e. smudging, clumping, flaking, irritating). Naturally, as devoted customer to Sephora, I was rather compelled by the award of "best of Sephora" to this mascara. Yes, I am pleased with the black color that seems to highlight rather than obscure. I am also happy with the appearance of lengthening my lashes. However, I am not happy with the way that this mascara leaves me with "raccoon" eyes; I constantly have to stop by a mirror to gently rub away the black smears beneath my eyes. This is a big downer in my book as I prefer makeup with lasting power (see my review on fiberwig mascara Imju Fiberwig Fiberwig) as I do not have time between court appearances to constantly primp, reapply, and adjust. This mascara is good as a night-time application where frequent trips to the powder-room are not impossible, but for busy work conditions, I suggest finding a mascara with more staying power.
Update: The smudging which was so bad when I first starting using this mascara has seemed to be reduced over time. I don't know if this mascara is more prone to smudging immediately after opening, but it may be a possibility. Diorshow certainly adds volume, in fact so much so, I still stick by my recommendation of using it as an evening mascara.
