The powerful clippers are useful for giving crew cuts and maintaining shorter haircuts. The clippers have a high-speed PowerDrive motor, which gives a smoother cut on thick hair. However, for the extent of its power, the motor is fairly quiet and lightweight. A comfortable grip makes the clippers easy to hold for a long period of time and a "Dura Chrome" finish gives them that retro-barber-shop look. The clippers' high-carbon steel blades are permanently aligned so you never need to adjust them, and are detachable for thorough cleaning. The clippers come with 10 adjustable guide combs and a sliding thumb-operated switch on the clippers lets you easily adjust the combs to the proper height. I decided to start cutting hair for my husband and son and bought a clipper kit from Target priced at $30. It was horrible! I returned it and bought this one from Amazon. I love it and can tell that it is higher quality just from a few uses. I would definitely recommend this product.

Somehow USPS got things wrong and lost the package. Well they sent me another one and it just came in the mail, not too long after I explained what had happened. So big plus for customer care.
It looks like a great product. I have a very old wahl product that makes tons of noise compared to this. It provides alot of power.

Bought this for Xmas as a stocking stuffer & it was a bigger hit than the ones under the tree. His old one had gotten so bad he felt it was just tugging the hair out & that one was 3 times more expensive & lasted about 24 months with infrequent use. He loves to shave his head & this gives a quick clean shave that he really likes. He even trims his mustache & goatee. Lots of attachments that he doesn't use because he just shaves to the skin, so can't comment on the usefulness of those.

I originally got this to trim my beard. However, both my boys now let me cut their hair with it, they love their haircuts and it is still going strong. It is kind of heavy but I like that... feels durable!

I've cut my own hair for 18 years. Now I cut my 2 son's also. The clipper's are great. I threw away my old pair right after the first cut of the new clipper's.
