OK but annoyingly flimsy August 3, 2008 My 4 year old son loves this toy. It's quiet and he has a blast. However, I have to fix it about every 5 minutes or more because it keeps falling down! It's driving me nuts! Would be hours of fun if it were sturdier.
HOT WHEELS TRACK July 30, 2008 I purchased this track for my 3 year old grandson. I have watched him line up his cars like they are on the highway, he has a lot of cars. He loves this track and he lines up his cars to watch them hit the finish line.
Hours of Fun May 31, 2008 I bought this toy primarily for my nephew(3yrs) and i found myself playing with this thing for hours, he loves it, i love it, its fun, hes working on hand-eye coordination putting the Hotwheels in, setting up the numbers, and pushing the lever. It uses a good chunk of space but folds up neatly. A good design feature is that if the fold snap or break, they can easily be snapped back into place, so the toy is almost indestructable.
simple design works well April 28, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
the most complicated thing about this track is the way it folds up for travel and storage, and that isn't hard to figure out. But simple is often underrated. I don't think that any number of twists and turns and gadgets and doo dads can beat the thrill of making your little cars go really fast. We bought this for our three year old son and had it out and racing only three minutes after we got home with it. He can't set up the track by himself (from the storage position) but he can put the cars on, reset the flags and start the cars himself. But I really enjoy playing with him, too. this set is supposed to be linkable with other hotwheels race sets, so it is expandable. I am really glad we chose this!
Line 'em up, let 'em roll April 23, 2008 Love this track. My son is just now getting into miniature cars. We took all of the one's he has and got for Christmas, line them up and have races until we find the fastest car. It's usually 1 of 3 different one's that one so the track is pretty consistent, even between lanes.
The "flags" at the end of the track are simple but ingenious as it takes the arguments out of photo finishes, very cool.
