I got this bear for my 7 year old. His bear was getting old and worn out so I got him this one. He loves it, and I must say I loved it too which is why I wanted it. I also think Gund stuffed animals are well made. He's VERY soft, and his cute little jacket comes off. The hat is sewn on, but I'm sure if you really wanted it off you could cut the threads.

i ordered this bear for our new grandchild, and i was afraid my family wasn't going to let me give it to her. i even caught my husband looking like he'd like to keep goober, instead of giving him away. my 27 year old daughter also wanted to hold him. he is very cuddly and easy to hold and everything perfect in a bear - darling personality and perfect cuddle-ability.
