These are great. We gave them to our niece and she easily grips them. Best of all, they don't constantly roll off the table, they stay where she puts them. Highly recommended!!

This is a wonderful first set of crayons for a smaller child. The crayons are triangular so the child can hold it in his small hands. As with all Melissa and Doug toys, it is very nicely presented so it makes a good gift (ages 15 months and up). - Noga Rosenthal

These crayons are triangular, so little kids can handle them a lot easier than the round ones. They feel more like plastic than the usual wax material, making them somewhat erasable. They are extremely well made in China by a company that manufactures arts and crafts for kids (Artrain Industrial Ltd. from Hong Kong).The box we purchased from Amazon contains 24 colors and they come in a hard plastic case with a transparent lid that helps the kids keep them organized. They are marketed in the USA by the toy company "Melissa & Doug". These crayons are non-toxic, non-roll and stronger than regular crayons, our family highly recommends them.
