This is a very fun Play-Doh set. The play-doh actually comes out of the toy looking like swirled ice cream. A nice mix of colors comes with the set. The play-doh we got with it was very soft so it works great with the set. Like most sets that squeeze play-doh through some kind of press, it can be difficult to clean it out of all the cracks and crevices. We found that using a toothpick and some cotton swabs worked great in helping clean the toy up after play. Overall, a good toy and lots of fun playing Ice Cream Shop. (Anybody for some green ice cream with pink whip cream on top?)
Kids and I love this toy! November 17, 2008
My daughter who is very creative and not a big toy lover, just got this for her 4th birthday and it has already logged more play time than most any other toy around here. It is well made and my little 1 1/2 year old loves to sit and turn the sprinkle handle too. We've already gone through all four cans of play-doh that comes with it! Would recommend this to anyone!

This is my favorite play doh set, ever. My five year old son loves to create and draw so we purchased this set for his birthday. We went through all the doh in one day (as it got mixed together) making parfaits and cones with sprinkles and molds galore. I played with him making the molds, that are all over the set - lots of them. I taught him to put in more than enough doh in the mold and pull off the remaining - voila....now he's doing the molds. I don't often play with my kids' toys, but this one brought out the kid in me! My only complaint is the challenge to get more sprinkle doh. I did find some on hasbro's site in a tub, but have never seen it in stores.

Play Doh's Magic Swirl Ice Cream Shoppe is such a delight and my 3.5 year old daughter has had many happy hours of fun with it. The set comes with 4 cans of play-doh in brown, pink, green,and white sprinkle doh. There are over 40 molds to create tiny confections of delight. It also comes with two plastic cones for making 'ice cream', two sundae plastic containers, a plastic "cake" that can be decorated, three spoons, etc.
The attachments to create swirls of 'ice cream', 'toppings' squeezer, and 'sprinkles' cranker are all easy to fit. My little one was able to manipulate the attachments with some effort but she could do so independently.
This is definitely one of my daughter's favorites of the Play Doh sets that we have and it has been keeping her occupied in creating various confections and 'iced' delights:) Final verdict: a fun and value Play Doh set that will encourage little ones to create and play make-believe!
