The Leatherman Bit Kit expands your driver's capabilities with 21 double-ended tool steel bits (42 tips total). Use this kit with your Surge, Charge AL, Charge ALX, Charge TTI, Wave or the Removable Bit Driver. This kit includes a wide assortment of hex, Robertson, Pozi, Torx, Phillips and slotted bits, plus a nylon sheath to keep the kit organized and easily transportable.  these bits make the leatherman skeletool worth much more October 7, 2008
it has flattened version of hex bits- that fit my bike, my double bass drum pedal, other stuff. plus multiple screwdriver bits, etc etc etc! and a great case.

This is a typical (high-quality) Leatherman product- the bits fit well, are made of quality materials, and I can squeeze them into the nylon sheath of my Surge if I don't want to carry another sheath just for the bits. The bit carriers were numbered 3 and 4- I'd love to find 1 and 2!

The Leatherman 42 bit assortment pack is a well built, sturdy, functional set of tools. I have used them several times now and they work wonderfully. Overall an excellent product, I would not have expected anything else from Leatherman.

I love my Skeletool and my Bit Assortment. HOWEVER, ironically enough, the kit does not include a bit that allows you to remove the clip off of your Skeletool.
 Missing sheath, Amazon is no help September 9, 2008
Amazon sold this item and failed to include the sheath. When contacted, they said they can't send out a partial order and to contact Leatherman to see if I could buy a separate sheath. Poor customer service and an utter failure to acknowledge their own mistakes makes Amazon a last choice for me anymore. I used to like shopping here, but it's become a hassle.
