Product Description Forty-percent lighter and 33-percent more productive than other ultra-compact drill/drivers, the Pocket Driver is small enough to fit into a tool belt pouch and lightweight and powerful enough to accomplish a majority of professional drill/driving tasks all day without fatigue. For carpenters, remodelers, electricians, woodworkers and more, the Pocket Driver is an invaluable complement to larger and heavier cordless drill/drivers. The 10.8-volt Pocket Driver measures only 6 by 6.5-inches, nearly half the size of stick drivers and other ultra-compact drill/drivers. Under 2 pounds (with battery), the Pocket Driver is also 40% lighter and comfortably fits into a tool belt pouch or back pocket, unlike the competition. The Pocket Driver can drive 100 3-inch screws per charge and drill holes up to 1/2-inch in diameter, more than enough to keep most professionals productive through the day. The variable speed trigger controls 0-400 rpm and over 80-inch/lbs. of torque. A 10+1 clutch system, similar to those of standard drill/drivers, offers 10 drive and one "Max" drill setting for better control. The tool's Clic-Change bit holder makes 1/4-inch hex shank bits changes quick and easy. And an LED light enhances visibility in dim working conditions, while a soft-grip handle makes the tool more comfortable for all day use. Litheon 10.8-volt tools, such as the Pocket Driver, were not possible before lithium-ion technology. In addition to larger more powerful 36-volt tools, Bosch recognized the opportunity to extend the inherent benefits of the new battery technology to innovate the lower end of the voltage spectrum with a never before seen ultra-compact, lightweight and powerful design. The Ultra-Compact Bosch PS20 LITHEON 10.8-volt Pocket Driver comes complete with two batteries, 30-minute charger, soft carrying case and two bits.
Amazon.com Review This driver would look more at home on a Fisher-Price workbench than anywhere else, but its looks are completely deceiving. It's tiny, it's light as a feather (less than 2 pounds including the battery!), but we promise, it packs power you won't believe. Bosch fuels it with "litheon," which the company calls "the industry's most advanced lithium-ion battery technology." We can attest that there's absolutely no lag in power even when the battery's about to hit empty, and the run time is very impressive, driving literally hundreds of screws before needing a quick charge. It's rare that we come across a tool that would suit everyone, right across the board, but this is definitely one. Carpenters, remodelers, cabinet makers, builders, hobbyists, homeowners, crafters, RVers, weekend warriors and, dare we say, your mom, will come to find this little driver indispensable.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste What's in the Box PS20 Litheon 10.8-volt Pocket Driver, two batteries, 30-minute charger, soft carrying case, two bits

not a real driver September 18, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
i've had this drill for about 8 months. i tried to use it as much as i could but the driver can't drive 2"screws in to pine with out stopping even with a freshly charged battery. the description says it can drive 100 3" screws but it cant even do one. this isn't for anyone who works for a living, it might be good for a house wife to hang curtains.
awesome September 13, 2008 this is an awesome tool. you have to use it for what it is made to do. yes the manufacture says it will screw 100 3" screws on one charge. this is probably in ideal situations screwing tiny screws into balsa wood. do you believe auto manufacturers when they say a truck will get 26 mpg?
this will not replace an 18 volt drill. it does small jobs very well. my other drill is a 28 volt milwaukee. it stays in the tool box unless this drill cant do it. which isnt very often
Very Well Made, Tons of Torque, Still no 2nd Driver from Rebate! September 10, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Love it, but I still haven't received the second driver that was promised with the rebate offer. Anyone else not received theirs?
Bosch cordless drill driver September 8, 2008 Very good for alll the projects around the house. Super light weight, a real good quality drill.
Buy it now! August 22, 2008 Well, there are already a lot of reviews of this bad boy, but I thought I'd still throw my 2 cents in. I am a computer technician by trade, a decent amount of my work involves taking a computer apart to find or replace faulty hardware. Now a 10.8v driver is a bit exsessive for taking screws out of a PC. But let me tell you this, with the extender bit I bought when I'm at a clients business working on their PC's thanks to this I have the speed of a Nascar pit crew working on a car. By hand it takes forever to get 8-10 (or even more) screws out of a PC. My old Black & Decker cordless was ok, but it was bulky and couldn't get into small spaces easy.
This Bosch is a DREAM tool, with the extended bit I can get to hard to reach screws with easy, and wit the wand (don't know what else to call it. It makes getting non magnetic screws back to their holes a piece of cake. I have used it for non PC stuff, I put up a towel rack & toilet paper holder. The speed and power were perfect and the adjustable torque means I never over tighten or strip a screw. As far as battery life the manual claims you can drive 100 3" screws, while I've never done that so I can't comment on accuracy. I have worked on hundreds of computers and only had to recharge once. Granted computer screws are nothing next to 3" wood screws. But I did get weeks of every day use out of it. Overkill for PC work maybe, but such a beautiful tool. It also looks very nice, when I pull it out and go to work I usually have 1 or 2 people ask me about it.
This isn't cheap but you get what you pay for, having an extra battery + the charger being so fast this is the tool to get. The only con I would say I have with it, I don't like the fabric case that comes with it, I would have much prefered a metal or at least hard plastic one. Aside from that
