1 out of 5 stars Annoying   August 16, 2008
You know in all fairness. Billy's workouts can be really challenging. You WILL sweat and you WILL feel your muscles working and tightening. Okay now for the bad. The class and the instructor just bug me. I hate how Billy always has to stop and go right in front of the camera to talk. I hate how he has everyone yelling out to count. Gosh if it weren't for those two really annoying things I'd buy all his workouts because they work, but I just can't get past these annoying factors that seem present in all his DVD's. I do like how he shows really good form. It is a little fast paced for people who are not used to such high intensity, which can lead to injury for beginners. I also can't really understand him half the time when he talks because he's just all over the place. He also walks all over the place so much that sometimes you do some moves more on one side than you do on the other. Leaving you unbalanced. I am just one of those persons that could do without all the "whoo hoos" and "ughs" throught the workout. It is REALLY distracting. You'll even see some of his crew doing moves with bad form because it is so fast paced. I've bought 2 of Billy's DVD's and vow to never buy another because these annoying factors just carry over to each new DVD.

4 out of 5 stars High energy, intense work out   July 19, 2008
This is a great product if you're in decent shape already but want a challenge. It's a nice balance of original tae bo moves and new exercises with the band. I always get sweaty and breathing hard. I definitely see improvements in my muscle tone from the work out.

If you purchase this product from "As Seen on TV", you should be aware that the bands you receive are not the same bands as used in the video. The bands I received are much tighter and therefore harder to use. The flip side is you'll be working out harder, which is a good thing if you like the challenge. But just so you know, you'll be faster fatigued than Billy Blanks and his crew. And sometimes your range of motion will be smaller; unless you're super-strong, the bands will restrict how far you can extend.

But in general, a great product for an intense work out. All three videos are great.

5 out of 5 stars Best Workout Ever!   March 10, 2008
The Billy Blanks Bootcamp set is one of the best and most challenging workouts he has put out to date. It is a great option for time-crunched people because you will get your cardio and strength training workout all within 1 hour! I lost 85 pounds by working out with Billy. I was lucky enough to be part of an infomercial promoting this product (if you enlarge the picture of the box that's me on the back of it). Billy, you ROCK! Thanks for all that you do for us! Sincerely, Jamie

5 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC WORKOUT!!!   December 5, 2007
This is one of the best taebo series, it is very advanced not really for beginners. You see the results after a week after doing this workout. I highly recommend that you buy the deluxe set which includes the Lower and Cardio workout, they are fabulous as well. The resistance bands are challenging at first but with regular use with the workout, you will become stronger and more toned. Be careful, if you have a tender neck (like myself) or weak shoulders, there are a lot of press ups in some of these workouts. Don't do so many reps, I'm surprised that there have been a lot of bad reviews regarding this series but it truly is up there with the Get Ripped series. I have been doing taebo for over twelve years and I really enjoyed this workout. Give it try, it will definitely keep you fit and well and give you a body to die for.

Fabulous workout! When it's raining or inclement weather, I can use his workout for cross training. The best there is.
