Avery Design Pro 5.0 June 17, 2008
A good product that integrates the many Avery labels. Have used their products for years. Wish it was easier to set up a new label design. Price remains good for this latest version from Avery.
 A must for Qvery media users January 24, 2008
I like this product a lot, because it efficiently handles all of the Avery products that I now use or think I might use. The Avery template cues in other manufacturers' products claim to be able to handle Avery products, but often cannot. Since the standard of the industry for labels and similar things like business cards and the like is the Avery product, it make sense to use the Avery software, which is very easy to use. I am not burdened by templates and data files leftover from earlier Avery software, and this makes it easy for me to feel enthusiatic about the product.

I've been using the limited version for years and am so excited to now have the full version. I can do so many things with this software that I'm the one people go to for business cards, invitations, labels, etc...

Avery Design Pro 5.0 does anything you could ever think of with labels, and even handles label sheets that are not made by the company itself.

I never used any other label maker so I cannot compare it. I found it simple yet it has 1 serious limitation: its inability to create very small text. Labels are frequently small. I never imagined that a label maker would not include a mechanism by which you can insert tiny text. I cannot add "external use only" or "5ml" to my label without it being as large as any of the other writing on it. This product is therefore not a complete solution for me to make my labels.
