Extra P4 Swag December 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's somewhat unusual for game tie-in extras to actually be SOLD separately, as opposed to being pre-order bonuses or the like. The price tag on this particular set wasn't that far off the price of many new PS2 games either. However, since this was for Megaten bonus gear, I decided to make an exception.
The plush isn't huge, but can more than likely be easily displayed on a shelf/area of your choosing. It seems well-made to my admittedly untrained eye.
The soundtrack is a great addition to the pack-in album that already comes with the game, I don't think anyone will have any complaints with this.
The calendar has some great artwork, including the cast in a lineup with their heights, various concept drawings and more. The actual "calendar" part of it makes reference to in-game occurrences on various dates as well.
The shirt.... well... it's well made. The graphic is extremely large, and well done. But... the thing is just gargantuan. I had the good fortune to be given one of the P4 shirts given to the Gamestop managers at their annual conference. While different in design, it too was HUGE. I was hoping this one might fit a bit better. They're both basically tarps. I'm 6' and over 200lbs. and I routinely wear XL shirts, but these are like blankets on me. The sizing would more accurately be XXL or XXXL. I'm not sure if there was some oversight here, but these are more aptly sized for the in-game demons.
All in all, I was satisfied with my purchase.
awesome deal for some great collectible items December 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Fantastic collection of items for Persona 4. It's rare to be treated to such an array of limited items all in one package. I am definitely glad to get a hold of one of these and will stay together with my other Persona collection. The soundtrack even has a place for the Side A soundtrack that comes with the game, which makes the collection even better. Luckily the t-shirt was an XL for me since that's what I wear. If it was smaller, I would have given it to my GF; she loves the t-shirt as much as I do. =) If you have an opportunity to pick this up at a good price (not Ebay's...) then by all means, get it! =) You won't regret it.
Pleased December 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm a sucker for bonus goodies and I was pleased with this Pack. The Teddie plush is adorable. I like that the calendar has the Japanese Holidays along with the American ones. Also, sweet artwork and nice tibits of info. The soundtrack is easy listening. The shirt is very nice, but I wish we could have had the option to pick a size. The XL is way too big (for me anyway.) I'd like to wear it outside the house. Overall, I'm thankful for Atlus releasing this and hope similar bonus goodies come with future games.
Awesome packge deal December 13, 2008 i pre-ordered it and got it on the 9th and it came in this huge box with and in it had a smaller box which had my items and i was surprised at how well the shirt was and i never thought about it until i looked at the calender and realised SMT is Sunday Monday Tuesday on a calender until it kept having it highlighted the art work was amazing and for 30 bucks extra well worth it considering most shirts on average are 20 bucks which makes the cd plushy and calender worth a total of 10 well worth the money and i love the shirt i wear an xl but thats even a bit big on me
Awesome, except the tshirt is huge. December 12, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Seriously. The tshirt wasn't just made for big boned people. It was made for either absurdly tall people or obese people. because of the placement of the print, it can't even be modified to a smaller size. Sure its great for people that wear XL (although it's more like XXXL), but what about people that wear S?
