Product Description Crickets provide valuable protein, vitamins, and minerals. In the past, they have been difficult to keep for any length of time. But now, with Kricket Keeper, you can maintain up to 150 medium-sized crickets for a week or longer. Because crickets love hiding in dark, confined places, Kricket Keeper has provided four texturized, black cylinders that double as cricket refuges and feeder tubes. When you're ready to feed, just remove the tube with the crickets inside. The trap door will shut automatically and you can transfer the cylinder, along with the crickets, to your pet for feeding. Includes clear viewer/feeder window at top, great ventilation, carrying handle, and food/water dishes. Assembly Remove all four cylinders. Put the hook end of the trap door on the upper-most bar above cylinder opening. Snap it into place. Repeat the process for the remaining trap doors. To restore a cylinder, push back on the pivot point to lift the trap door, then slide the cylinder into position. Feeding: Simply slide a cylinder out of the Keeper (trap door will drop down to cover the opening). Cover the open end of the feeder tube with your hand as you move to the location of your animal. Remove your hand and lightly tap the cylinder to release the appropriate number of crickets. Cover the open end again and return it to the Keeper. Caution: To avoid escapees, remove only one cylinder at a time. Cricket Care: Place Kricket Keeper in a well-ventilated, low-humidity area (temperature 70 - 75F

Best Cricket Cage I have owned May 29, 2008 The Kricket Keeper is an excellent product and highly recommended to any person who needs to store live crickets. I drop the crickets in, add a mutli purpose cricket food/gut loader and when my beardies are hungry I pull out a black tube and shake it over thier feeding bin. Its as easy as that. No trying to catch crickets with a cricket catcher and no more grabbing them with my fingers/tongs. I have never had a cricket escape from my keeper and even tho it says it can hold 150 crickets. I dump about 250 in there and no escapes. My beardies blow through them so fast I have never tried to sustain 200+ crickets for long though. Buy it you wont be dissatisfied.
A must have for any herp owner June 27, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Makes life MUCH easier to keep crickets, we are able to keep 200 pin head crickets for about a month using them to feed our tree frogs. Do keep a moist sponge in the case and we throw potato slices and apple slices in as well.
Great! October 18, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very convienient and useful. Despite what the above person may say, as long as the lid is properly closed, crickets cannot escape. Tubes are easy and convinient way to remove crickets.
Waste of money ... May 5, 2006 This cricket keeper is a waste of money. While the black tubes (with clear caps on the ends of the tubes) are a good idea to help get the crickets out when you need them, crickets can still escape from this keeper through the lid. I set this in my bathtub since so many crickets keep escaping every night and I'm still finding crickets around the house.
