I started my puppy on PlaqueOff at 6 months of age; he's 13 months now and still doesn't have a single spot of tarter. And his breath has NO odor at all. My vet is amazed. Of course the vet still recommends brushing, and that's great if the pet will let you... But some dogs (and most cats) just won't hold still for a proper brushing. This is SO much easier--and a lot more effective than a toothpaste-smeared wrestling match!

My cat has been on this treatment in his food for 2 weeks. Haven't seen any immediate change in his teeth - however he is eating it. I am thinking that it will take at least 4 weeks before I see any improvement. I can wait

Been using this several months. Right away Max's bad breath went away and soon after we could notice his tartar stained teeth improving. Our vet was very happy with the improvement! Great stuff!

We've been putting this in our cat's food once a day as directed, for about a month. She is fed canned food exclusively, and we can't say how putting Plaque Off over kibble would work. Our cat did not have any issues with the smell of something new in her food. Her gums and teeth look great now and she has no more 'kitty breath.' If brushing your cat's teeth is a chore, this product appears to be a workable alternative or supplement to that routine.

After switching dog food my dog had a bunch of positive benefits to the new food except for one - his breath odor did not improve at all which was unfortunate since his breath smelled like...well let's just say it was awful. To help keep his breath in somewhat check (I would say from going from awful to extremely foul) we were using Iams Tartar Treats every other day. These treats do a great job of cleaning the teeth but are filled with a lot of ingredients we were trying to get away from when we switched dog food.
About two months ago I was in to buy some Tartar Treats and the woman at the pet store recommended Plaque Off.
This product does work, however you have to give it time. It took about two to three weeks to notice a difference. It's not like the smell of roses drift from his mouth but now when he licks my face I don't feel like vomiting and/or passing out. The price is very reasonable when compared to the amount of money we were spending on Tartar Treats. The container is small but the measuring scoop is very small and the product lasts a long time.
