 The Rinse Ace is just right! November 25, 2008
I love this thing! Sure it could have been made from real metal at the fitting, but that is why it costs so little to buy. It is so great to be able to wash my dogs either entirely or just to clean them up from their usual rolling in the stuff that only dogs roll in.
pros: Very easy to use, easy on the back, fitting attachment went on easily.
cons: If I forget to turn off the shower the fitting will start to spray = My bad!!
Get it. It's worth every cent.

This is terrific for washing my German Shepherd! Before I found the Rinse Ace online, the only thing I could find in any stores, was a hose to attach to the bathtub faucet, which would easily detach and have no rinsing power. I've had my shower hose for almost a year, and have not had a problem. I was searching to purchase another one for my parent's house, and found that the manufacturer sells an all-metal connector, in brass, chrome and nickel. You can purchase this on the Rinse Ace(manufacturer) website. They even have an accessory to hold the shower hose available .
The spray power is terrific, and easily gets the water through my dog's coat. We bathe our dog every one to two weeks, and usually shampoo (twice) and condition her coat. So, we've gotten a lot of mileage out of the shower head so far! It certainly beats trying to wet and rinse our dog with a large cup of water!

We were looking for a product to use in our utility sink (pet bath sprayer), and it is not designed for such use.
So, okay, you'd think you could run to the hardware store and pickup an adapter fitting of some sort, right? Not! Evidently, you'd need a mechanical engineering degree to make that work, judging from striking out at 3 hardware stores...
too bad, we were looking forward to the quick connect feature...

My name is Marie, this is my husband's account but I'm the one writing this review instead. I have been bathing my 10 pound Shih Tzu in our kitchen sink using the sprayer with our sink and I was worried I wasn't getting all of the shampoo out so after reading alot about this product I decided to give it a try. Got it within a week and my husband attached it to our shower with no problems but when we turned it on, there was hardly any pressure to it and I was disappointed from that so he let go of the button to spray and when he pushed it again nothing came out and we could hear loud noises behind the wall. Immediately, he let go and we had to go into the bedroom and take the paneling off the wall to see if a pipe had blown off and sure enough it did. We had water behind the wall, and had to call a plumber to come and fix it! I wouldnt give this cheap made product any stars if I could. I sent it back today which costs me almost $7.00 for that.

Just received the shower deluxe chrome in the mail. It took only 5 minutes to install and works great. The only disappointment is that the "chrome" valve is actually a cheap piece of plastic. If you are not careful installing it, I think the plastic threads will easily break if you screw it on too much. Careful with your installation! Other than that, it's great.
