First of all I bought two vests for both of my dogs. The vests were very nice, they fit well and were brightly colored. It was very easy to see the dogs in the woods during hunting season or at night with a flashlight. The only problem is that my dogs like to run around and play with each other and while jumping up on one another their claws ripped through the mesh coating. The vests are nice if you have only one dog but rip very easily if your dog runs through the woods or has another companion to play with.

I have a very black lab, and live in an area with little-to-no street lighting. Walking the dog at night was incredibly dangerous, as he melts into the darkness. This vest has made him very visible to on-coming traffic, and I feel much more secure walking him in the dark. It is light-weight, easy to put on and he doesn't object to wearing it at all.
