If buzzers or music are not enough to get you out of bed in the morning, this projection alarm clock might give you the jolt you need. When the alarm sounds, time and outdoor temperature project in large red digits onto a wall or ceiling up to six feet away so you can't miss it. The projection arm has four different orientation angles for you to adjust it to the perfect eye level plus an adjustable brightness control. Two alarm settings, allow you to set wake-ups for two different times. An adjustable snooze button also gives you a respite between alarms of anywhere from 1 and 59 minutes. This bedside clock also displays the precise time in hours and minutes in either 12- or 24-hour mode on its backlit LCD screen as well as the current day of the week and numeric month and day. A built-in antenna system receives signals from the WWVB radio transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is in turn regulated by the atomic clock. Once you plug the unit in and set the clock to the proper time zone, it will automatically set to the accurate time. The clock can be set to one of 13 time zones, including all US time zones and Greenwich Mean Time. The main screen also identifies your current time zone on a United States map icon and displays current indoor or outdoor temperatures and the weather forecast for the next 12 to 20 hours. The temperature function displays in either Celsius or Fahrenheit and is measured indoors every 10 seconds. Outdoor temperature is measured remotely every 5 minutes via a 433 MHz transmitter (included) that can be positioned up to a maximum of 80 feet from the clock's location. The current weather forecast and future tendencies, including storm warnings, are shown in an iconic display with predictions based on changes in air pressure detected by the unit. This clock comes with an AC power adapter, and will also run on two AA batteries as a backup power source should the electricity go out.  nice but with drawbacks January 7, 2009
Very nice to see at night. Clearly displays on the ceiling but imposable to see during the day. You have to walk directly over to the clock to see the time. The normal display screen is very dull. If I had realized this I would have bought a different model.
Good night clock December 29, 2008
In the middle of the night, this clock works wonderfully. The clock does not add light to the room. The numbers are clear. the ceiling is 8 feet away and the numbers are 8" tall and easy to read. Can't see the projections during the day. Also, don't let your two year old touch it. She will turn on both alarms (all it takes is pushing the front alarm buttons). Other than that, very happy, bought one for my mother for x-mas.

I am very happy with this item, and the time and temp change on the ceiling every 4 seconds, this wasn't very clear in the description, otherwise it was a very accurate description.
tlling time & temperature in the darkabble to see eerything without my conyact lense in during the night November 25, 2008
it gives me the ability to see the time & temperature during the night without turning my head or having my contact lenses in. the light is not intrusive in any way.
 Outdoor temp stopped working November 21, 2008
After a few months the outdoor temp stopped working. Replaced batteries in remote sensor (followed directions exactly). No luck. Disappointed. Time and indoor temp works fine.
