Attractive solution to storage problem December 2, 2008
I bought a Suncast SS1000 Storage Seat to place out back to hold the bags of dog treats I always have out there. I had considered getting a plastic storage bin to keep birds and rain out of the treats but this is a much nicer solution!
It's roomy enough to hold at least three 5 to 10 lb bags of dog biscuits, and it keeps them nice and dry and safe from other critters.
It require no tools to assemble, and went together in less than a minute. The lid is hinged and lifts easily, and when closed it slightly overlaps the base to keep rain out.
I have a Suncast deck box which has stood up to the elements for a couple years now and still looks great (no easy trick here in the Arizona desert) so there's no doubt this storage seat will do the same.
Although I use mine for dog treats, you could easily use it to store garden tools, a hose, toys, pool supplies, or anything you'd like.
I'm pleased with it and give it two thumbs up.
Exactly what I needed August 25, 2008
I just needed storage for the patio furniture covers. This works perfectly. Very easy to assemble (assuming you read the directions first) and is useable as additional seating. I plan to order another.
Practical, attractive, yet unobtrusive August 23, 2008
I bought one of these to keep my garden tools handy. I put it on my small patio outside my screen porch, where I liked it so much I began to want it in several places--so I bought two more. The second one is seating and storage for unused pots out in the garden. I put the third by my front door, where I will keep my sidewalk salt this winter. But now it is such a convenient little bench for putting down groceries when I fish for my keys, etc. etc.
These are wonderful for the price, and whip right together in a couple minutes.
Quick and easy storage solution August 5, 2008
This product was well designed and snapped together quite easily. Less than five minutes had the box assembled and placed on the patio, organizing what had been clutter. It also readily supports my weight, and makes a comfortable roost while watching the bar-b-que or drying from a pool dip...highly recommended...so much so that we just had to purchase a second one!
