Fell apart with first & only use... Please save your money! June 28, 2008
I am so disappointed in this BBQ set! It was a father's day gift for my husband who had to open it alone because the kids & I were in another state preparing for my father's funeral. On top of all that, when we arrived home & used the set for the FIRST time, it fell apart. I used the skewers for marinated pork & veggies. The glue that attaches the skewer handles melted over low-medium heat before the meat was even cooked (about 15 minutes). The glue at the handles began to bubble, turn black & expand onto my food. The handles twisted around & bent at the joint into a "broken stick" shape when I attempted to turn them over & then when I took them off the grill, the handles fell COMPLETELY off the skewers. I hope everyone will read this & keep looking for a quality product. I say that because I was one of the people who actually read another reviewer's warning about this set & I did not heed it then & now I'm paying for it. I am usually very reliant on reviews & I read them for everything.
