This was a worthwhile purchase. I did have problems keeping the length because the telescopic locking mechanism kept loosening up. Could be user error but overall it works great for getting snow off my truck without ending up covered in snow myself!
 Easily broke after just a few uses December 28, 2007
Short story - it broke with not too much use.
Longer story - we had an early light snow and I initially was happy with this product. A few days later, we had a heavier snow, followed by an ice storm, followed by a few cycles of rain and cold temps over the next few days. One of our cars sat outside through all this without being cleaned and when I tried to get the ice off the windshield, the scraper broke. I then tried using the edge of the squeegee/brush end with a light hammering technique to try and create cracks in the ice to make the task more manageable, and the end-caps came off and the squeegee and brush elements slid out.
Overall - it's a nice idea but poorly executed. If all you're going to need out of this is to brush snow off, you'll likely be happy. If you need to remove anything more substantial than light snow, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

On my first use, I tapped it to get the snow out of the brush, and the head fell apart. I had to re-assemble the brush and squeegee. The telescoping bar releases to easily when brushing snow. Needs to be more solid for the use it will face.
