 Could this be the most beautiful mistake? December 9, 2007
OK, so I'll be clear up front - if you love the track "The most beautiful girl in the world", you'll love this CD. Frankly I think that this is the most awful track that Prince has released for many years - and this CD is just packed full of remixes of the same awful tune. I have to admit that musically, some of the remixes are interesting but nonetheless make me grind my teeth because the original tune is still obviously there.
Being the "die-hard" prince fan I am, of course I have a copy, but this is only for the sake of having it in my collection.
Quite how it became so commercially successful I think says more of the general populous than of the musical genius that must have either been having a bad day, or was short of cash that month :(

The mixes of The Most Beautiful Girl in the World are okay - there really aren't any groundbreaking sounds here from Prince.
However, the packaging in this CD is amazing - very cool - the CD artwork itself is pretty fantastic as well...
Geared towards the Prince CD collectors.

this is by far one of the best singles ive heard in a long time and the Remixes are actually good! Maybe its because prince remixed them himself lol. You got Funky you got beautiful you got erotic and you a great pop song turned into an oooey gooey ballad of RnB. Play this one For your girl, Then sing it to your girl. she'll love it i promise!

I saw Prince perform this remix w/ Mayte in '94, & was blown away! This CD, celebrates the power of "P-Control". If u want 2 tell a woman that she's beautiful, special, sexy, & appreciated - buy the "THE BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE". This will make it "SOFT & WET" ...

A nice lil collection of pop-funk-r&B like jams courtesy of the Symbol we know as Prince. My favorite track by far is TRACK TWO_ too smooth vocals, with a weird little swoosh-like sound effect loop that reminds me of something out of Sailor Moon. Prince delivers the Beautiful Girl song in diverse ways, some sound better than the band worked original. Track 1 is a Dance-Funk remake that you can shake your beautylisciousness to, track two is my groove choice(I like to put this one on repeat), track three delivers it even slower, so you can include on your Get-Jiggy compliation for that candlelit dinner for two. Then if you're a music lover, 4 & 5 dishes out the instrumentals in a funky way. Track 6 is the only one I have a problem with- and so does my beautiful girlfriend> she says, a girl never looks at herself in the mirror and think: this dress is too hot, he (her date) won't be able to sit still, so I won't wear it (like in song). It's more like: This dress makes me look fat, (or even) this dress makes me look hot, yeah I'll wear it. Track 7 gives you the original song. If anything, learn the words to this song and sing it to your girlfriend at night, she'll think you're the Most Beautiful Guy in the world, and fellas that's all good when u in the sac.
