| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com On Pocketful of Sunshine, Natasha Bedingfield sounds like Joss Stone only bouncier. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, the brightness and buoyancy of this record will keep it spinning long after CDs that shoot for hipster credibility--with funked-up bells and fancy production whistles--have been deposited back into their jewel cases for all eternity. Check it out: "Love Like This," with Sean Kingston, puts its hands in the air for puppy love--the kind that'll bring you back to your "middle school kiss"--and a couple of other songs follow the youth-themed suit. "Backyard" time-travels to an idyllic childhood, while "Freckles" fleshes out, for the benefit of the insecure, the beauty in imperfections. Elsewhere, Bedingfield is her indomitably upbeat self. Opener "Put Your Arms Around Me" reeks of reassurance and tenderness. "Happy" implores would-be gloom-and-doomers to snap out of it, and while the title track doesn't wander all that far lyrically, it benefits from a chanted verse brimmed in (positive) attitude. The vibe, overall, is beach-blanket warm and blue-sky ready. Sunshine earns a pocketful, if not more, of pop-music props. --Tammy La Gorce

Bedingfield can really sing August 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is not my favorite style of music, but due to Bedingfield's voice, it has totally grown on me. She is a great singer with fabulous energy. The music makes you feel good. You really want to sing along once you get familiar with the songs.
Two Pocket Full........Sunshine August 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wow, what a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed every song on this CD, if there has to be a weakest song it would be Backyard. She writes most of her songs on this which have a lot of depth. Happy really touched deep. I had never heard of her but I will be checking for her as well as check out her previous release. If you like R&B inspired Pop music with a little reggae flavor and rhaspy vocals with a nice range then check out this CD.
LOVE this cd! August 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Skeptical of buying this cd since I'm not a big fan of "pop music", but so glad I bought it. The cd has much more of a blues sound than I expected. The cd is happy and fun and lifts your spirit if you are having a bad day. It hardly ever leaves the cd player in my car.

I enjoyed her CD. Not every song had the same beats and each song was really catchy.
Amazing August 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Natasha Bedingfield is amazing once again in her second CD "Pocketful of Sunshine". This CD has very up-beat songs such as "Pocketful of Sunshine", "Freckles", and "Pirate Bones". On her CD when you listen to "Pocketful of Sunshine" it's different compared to what you listen to on the radio, but it's still really fun to listen and to sing with. If you are looking for tunes for the summer that make you feel good I would definately recomend this CD and any other CD of Natasha Bedingfield.
