This inexpensive blender is more than good. It is excellent and I recommend it highly.

It certainly does the job well. Wasn't as great as I'd hoped but I had high expectations.
I only make frozen fruit smoothies really, and this guy blends it MUCH better than the OSTER we got. that one was poorly built. This Braun is SOLID.

despite negative reviews, because of favorable consumer reports rating we bought it, and regret it. On its first use trying to liquify watermelon pulp the gasket broke. It was a major effort to get proctor and gamble, the parent company to agree to refund our $42 rather than replace a product which is doomed

I use it everyday to make smoothies with hard frozen ingredients, and it works great. No problems at all. Heavy-duty. Buy with confidence.

The blender far exceeds my expectations and has performed excellently in all uses I have put to it. I have not made appliance purchases by internet in the past and made this purchase only because every appliance store I searched did not carry this product. I am very satisfied with the prompt delivery and the quality of the packing and intend to make many more appliance purchases from Amazon in the future.
