easy and quick October 6, 2008 Only started using it but I like not cleaning up a big mess-only a little one
Broke in 3 months, no warranty October 5, 2008 I purchased Magic Bullet to make baby foods. It was working fine until I used it for 3 months. The motor died and that was it. There is no warranty and they wouldn't replace it. By the way, if you want to make pesto like they do in the commercial, this blender won't grind hard cheese and pine nuts. If you like liquid salsa, this one works, but there won't be any chunks. I ended up chopping tomatoes with knife. This was a total waste of money. For the same amount of money, you can buy a Cuisinart that does similar things and they have 3 year warranty. Go for a trusted brand!!
Not worth the money October 4, 2008 The Magic Bullet worked great for the 5 times that we used it. It did everything it said it was supposed to do. But after those 5 times (in which we only used foods that the company recommended), it just stopped working. No warning. We tried several different outlets, thinking it must be the power supply because we hadn't used it that much. But no matter where we tried, it wouldn't turn on. This product is a waste of money and a waste of space. Get a real blender instead. It may not be as small, but it will last a lot longer.
Magic Bullet October 3, 2008 Great product especially for individual use. Easy clean-up which is important when kids are using it. Uses very little counter space. Love it and would highly recommend it.
Does a few things very well September 29, 2008 Probably the best thing I can say in favor of the Magic Bullet is that I sold mine when I bought a full-size food processor, consistently regretted getting rid of it, and just recently bought another one.
It will never equate to a full size food processor, but it doesn't have to. It serves a different purpose. The Magic Bullet is ideal for small chopping and grinding jobs that it isn't worth dirtying the big processor for. It really is pretty easy to clean, and definitely much easier to clean than a food processor.
Like any product sold on TV, it does not really live up to all of the claims it makes. Some models are sold with a juicer and a blender, both of which I found to be utterly useless. It's also not great for anything too thick, as the motor is a little weak. For example, I bust out the food processor for a big batch of guacamole, though I have made it in the Magic Bullet before; it just requires a little more effort in the form of lots of shaking. I also think the party mugs are pretty silly and useless.
Overall, I love having it for small chopping, grinding, and mixing jobs. It's easy to clean, and the fact you can microwave the cups is very handy for some tasks (it makes excellent garlic butter!) It doesn't replace a food processor for me, but is a good addition.
