3 out of 5 stars Perfect.....until it loses air   September 19, 2008
I got this bed about two years ago and use it every day as a strictly indoor bed. It is very comfortable and since switching to an air bed my allergies have greatly improved.Until a few days ago I had no complaints about it what so ever that was until it developed a slow leak that woke me up every two hours when I had to refill it. Since it has been two years my mattress is out of warrenty.

Seeing that it came with a patch i didnt think it would be hard to fix but I hadnt thought about how to find the hole. I finally found the hole after sitting on it and feeling for air. It was on the side of one of those squares on the top of the mattress.

I used the patch as directed, adding pressure for a half hour while it wasnt inflated. Once I filled the bed back up and sat on it, the air pressure created a air bubble under the patch and it popped right off.

I ended up folding up a piece of tissue and wedging it into the hole so that a little sticked out while I laid on it. That alone worked nicely, there was only a small bit of air coming out. To seal it I poured some "Gorilla Glue" around it. After a hour or so it dried hard enough I could tap on it. It did an amazing job considering where the hole was.

4 out of 5 stars Thank whatever heigher deity you may believe in for this bed...   July 30, 2008
My family bought this bed about eight(?) years ago to use when guests came over, however when we moved to a house with a guest bedroom we banished it to the basement to hang out with my 4th grade art projects and baby clothes for the rest of eternity.

That is, until now. I recently rented a furnished apartment and the mattress that came with the place is horrendous. Even with a mattress pad I could not get comfortable- every night was like that story the Princess and the Pea. I finally had enough and borrowed this from my parents while at home last weekend. What a delight! I no longer dread going to sleep and don't wake up feeling like someone danced the cha-cha on my back. I've only had to refill it for about 10 seconds between uses since I like a really firm mattress.

One thing I would note is that the slanted part near the head is not slanted enough to act as a pillow. Unless you want a crick in your neck (or your guests') you should provide your own. Also, if you have tall guests you may want to invest in the queen. I'm 5'7 and my feet are only about an inch away from the end of the bed. Not a problem if you don't mind your toes hanging over the end, mine just get cold when that happens.

Rating of four stars because I remember we brought it on vacation a few years ago because one of our hotels didn't have queen beds available. My dad was less than pleased with it (may have been the length, he's 6'0) and I remember waking up with a slightly sore back. That said, it was much better than sleeping on the floor!

1 out of 5 stars Another Worthless Product From Eero   May 16, 2008

Eero has continual avoided complaints of its customers regarding all its beds. I myself have purchased over the last 5 years, about 10 Eero beds for use in a small hut and with all of them, I have had problems. This is very inconvenient for me considering I'm blind and live nowhere near a post office. This bed leaks as soon as it is put on the floor. Be warned.

4 out of 5 stars Good product with exception   May 9, 2008
Easy to inflate. My guest who slept on it says it is comfortable but lost air after the first night. We had to add a little air after each night.

2 out of 5 stars Not very durable.......   April 9, 2008
I purchased this product two months ago with the intention of using it for three weeks whilst we gave up our bed for visitors. The bed had been used for a period of two weeks prior by another guest with no problems. Hmm, after a couple of nights the bed must have developed a leak because we had to keep blowing it up in the middle of the night. By the third week, it was literally impossible to tolerate anymore. It deflated continuously (we couldn't locate the leak) and we would wake up with bones jabbing into the floor all night long....not very comfortable to say the least. We threw it in the trash by the end of week three. In conclusion, durability is not one this beds strongest assets!
