The propane grill employs an 8,500-BTU stainless-steel burner to heat its 189-square-inch cooking area. Weber crafted the grill's lid and body in tough cast aluminum with a sturdy glass-reinforced nylon frame. The grill ignites at the push of a button for reliable lighting, and an infinitely adjustable burner valve with a high-quality regulator makes it easy to control the heat. Meat sizzles on the porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates, while drippings follow the drip ducts to reduce potential flare-ups and enable quicker cleaning. Other highlights include a flavorizer system integrated into the cooking grate, a removable catch pan, and a large weather-resistant lid handle. The grill operates on a standard 14.1- or 16.4-ounce propane cylinder. Propane does not come included, but Weber does enclose a Weber Q cookbook of recipes and inspiration. Product was shipped quickly. Arrived earlier than projected. No problems encountered. A very good seller with which to do business.
Best grill I've ever owned September 3, 2008
Since buying the Baby Q, I haven't considered using my charcoal grill. The Baby Q heats up fast, cooks evenly, and I can finally rely on the times specified in recipes without checking the grill all the time. The cart that is sold with the Q is a gem also. This grill has more than enough space to cook for 4-6 people.

This portable barbeque is powerful enough to brown meats effectively and small enough to fit in a storage compartment of a small mobile home.

For those of you wondering if this grill gets hot enough to cook steaks... well it definite does. I had looked into the more expensive unit like the Solaire Anywhere grill because of its infrared feature, but after reading about how it tends to burn and undercook everything, I opted for this Q-100. It surprisingly gets hot enough to seared 1.25" rib-eye steaks due to the heat conductive iron-cast grate. By the way, the bigger 16oz propane bottle now fits the grill without modification - it even said so in the owner's manual. Also, save yourself money by getting the Charbroil 4 foot adapter hose (model #4623) at Home Depot instead of the one from Weber. From a guy who's accustomed to grilling steaks on a Viking Ultra-Premium T-Series grill, I can say that this is a nice portable unit that doesn't sacrifice much on performance. GREAT PORTABLE GRILL!! August 14, 2008
I JUST RETURNED FROM A 5 DAY CAMPING TRIP IN OUR MOTORHOME. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD A CHANCE TO USE OUR NEW WEBER 100 GRILL. WOW! WHAT A SURPRISE. I COOKED ON IT EVERY NIGHT. IT WAS EASY TO SET UP, FIRED RIGHT UP,AND COOKED THE MEAT JUST RIGHT. IT IS EASY TO CLEAN. I BOUGHT THE FOLDING CART FOR THIS MODEL. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT ALSO. IT WAS EASY TO SET UP AND TAKE DOWN FOR STORAGE. IN WALKING THROUGH OUR LAST RV PARK I NOTICED SEVERAL WEBER GRILLS LIKE THIS ONE. IT'S A GREAT LITTLE GRILL FOR YOUR RV! IT DOES A BETTER JOB THAN MY LARGE ONE AT HOME!
