The Ott-Lite is the very best light for close work or for people with poor vision. You can see better in the house than you can outside.

I bought one of these VisionSaver bulbs to use in a 13 watt fluorescent desk lamp I already had. Brighter light and easier on the eyes than the original pinkish bulb it came with. Works good as a reading/task lamp.

We use ours to simulate the outdoors for our cocketiels,
canaries and parakeets;they love it!This product lasts a long
time,and we rarely have to replace them.
