The peppercorns are fresh and spice up a dish with peppery flavor. I use pepper a lot, but with the 4-pack, I won't have to order any pepper for a while.

As any good gourmet will tell you Telicherry peppercorns are the best. I especially like them for grinding fresh over finished dishes. These are fresh, (when you open the package you should get a strong whiff of pungent pepper smell) they crack well (coarse or fine) and have a great flavor.
