This is not my favorite. In fact the first time I cooked it I added all of the seasonings and was not pleased. Then I tried again with half of the bag and added some crushed red pepper, and it was good and spicy...

I purchased the sample pack and the spices for all of their products are overpowering. If you don't use the entire spice packet and limit to 1/3-1/2 of the packet it helps somewhat, but even on sale it's a poor value. I definately would not purchase again.

I was a bit skeptical at first but I purchased this product and my family and I love it. My son, 4 years old, actually ate it too and he's not a rice fan. The spices add that kick to it where you dont' have to add anything extra to add flavor. I also added chicken and veggies into the rice and made a complete meal out of the rice. I am definitely a fan of this product and will be purchasing more once my stock runs out. I'm also eager to try the other flavors. Enjoy!

I completely disagree with Quiver Full Mama's review, I am currently a college student living on my own and I love this product. I have added chicken and fresh veggies to the rice mix and it's a full and complete meal. There is just the right amount of spices in the package and it beats any instant rice product on the market. I was really excited when I ordered this product and it went above and beyond my expectations. I really recommend this product to anyone, from single students to large families. If you want something different, exciting, affordable and healthy, make sure you try this out!!!!

I am a big fanatic of Middle Eastern cuisine as well as all my family BUT this side dish has nothing to do with flavorful Middle Eastern cuisine! After cooking it looks and smells like a vomit and taste like one too! My family even refused to taste it because its terrible apperance and smell! All this "wonderful" side dish went in to my kitchen waste. Even one star is too much for this product! Never in my life I had bought anything as disgusting as this "culinary masterpiece"! AVOID!
