Good Basic Bandana September 11, 2008 I ordered this bandana in several different colors with the idea of using them at an outdoor barbeque event as part of a centerpiece. The colors were all true to the images shown on amazon.com, and the bandana's were relatively square and of a medium weight fabric. I haven't washed them yet, so Im not sure if the color and fabric sizing will change after that process. Overall I am happy with the purchase.
No cotton bandana April 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These bandanas are no cotton as mentioned in the sales arguments, but synthetic material, which is less confortable and resistant. If you want a good quality bandana, I suggest you purchanse it somewhere else...
If you really want tie-dye this is not your best choice. February 4, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
When I came across this, I was excited to finally find a tie-dyed bandana. Unfortunately, when it arrived, I was less excited. Rather than being cotton with bold colours, it's a synthetic blend with washed-out colours and not much durability. If you're looking for a scarf to wear out to gallery show to try to look "eclectic", this might be an option for you, but if you want durability or a remembrance of the "good old days" when we used to tie-dye everything we could get our hands on (and wind up with multi-coloured hands in the process lol), this is definitely not the way to go. As far as the fraying one of the other reviewers mentioned, I haven't had that problem, but then again, I've only worn and washed it once. Overall, not a very satisfying purchase, but a good motivator to get out some food colouring and do some tie-dying of my own.
Thin, flimsy, definitely not worth it March 4, 2007 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I purchased two scarves and in the first washing the thread in the hems unraveled, producing a ragged fringe all around. These bandanas are thin, flimsy, and not worth the time or money.
