 Not as wrinkle free as before. December 1, 2008
I purchased five pair of these pants about six months ago, for work. They are awesome. So, I bought a couple more pair recently. These are not wrinkle free. I've washed them repeatedly and every time they have wrinkles. I don't know what the difference is, but it's night and day between the purchases. If you buy them, buy one pair and see how it goes.

Lee makes a great pair of somewhat loose fitting, easy on the waist double pleated pants for gentlemen who want a slightly more relaxed look; and these pants are also a good choice for people like me who are slightly overweight. The elasticized waistband just plain gives you extra room; and that's great!
People sometimes say that overweight gentlemen shouldn't wear pants with pleats. Consequently, at first I wasn't sure about the double pleated aspect of these pants; but then I realized that when I sit down and have a wallet in my pocket, these pants can use the extra fabric from the pleated area to "stretch" and "cover up" my being somewhat overweight. Then the pants still appear to fit very nicely--which they do!
The cotton is anything but cheap; and these pants are extremely durable. They last for years if you take good care of them. They are certainly permanent press since they say they don't wrinkle easily; and you might want to avoid taking these to the cleaners. However, I suppose that you could take these to the cleaners to be cleaned anyway. I know they say that these won't wrinkle, but if you wash these in your washer and dryer take them out right away after the drying cycle is finished to avoid any wrinkling at all. You may even want to wash them with similar colors so that no color dye from other garments gets on these pants during the wash and dry cycles.
The elastic waist in hidden; but wear your shirt tucked in so that you don't feel the elasticized waist rubbing up against your skin while wearing these pants. They are indeed stain resistant--hooray!
Overall, these fine pants by Lee easily rival any made by other manufacturers. Make sure you choose the right size and color for you if you're using the charts above on this webpage. If you want a pair of comfortable, good looking pants with pleats, this may be just what you're looking for--if you choose to buy these I doubt that you'll be disappointed.
Great pants with flawed pockets June 7, 2008

I cannot really add much to what most other people have said about the pants in general - they are very comfortable. I rated them at a three, however, because of the inconvenience of the problem with the front pockets - this is my greatest complaint. The bottoms of the front pockets taper down and get quite a bit smaller. I keep my wallet in my front pocket and it gets stuck in the bottom of the pocket. I have to use two hands to get it out. That is a MAJOR annoyance factor. Want to keep two things in your front pocket? Good luck if they are bigger than a cassette tape. The pockets need to be as wide at the bottom as they are at the top.

Theses pants fit and wear well. The comfort waist is an excellent fit and does not bunch up around the waist.
